Comvita Receives Second FDA 510K Clearance for Next Generation Medihoney™ Wound Dressings
Comvita today announced that their US Licensee Derma Sciences has received FDA 510K clearance for the company’s second dressing in the MEDIHONEY™ line. The Gel Sheet dressing is indicated for use on wounds with light to moderate exudate, and – based on its hydrocolloidal properties – forms a gel when it comes into contact with wound fluid to assist in promoting a moist environment conducive to healing.
