Why should you attend the Science Symposium 2011

The Comvita® Science Symposium is the annual get together of our entire global science network.  It enables exchange within the network on latest findings and publications.  It is also a training forum, we have a wide cross section of the global Comvita® team attending and science is explained in ways to facilitate better understanding of our new findings.

Typical delegates attending the 2010 science day came from NZTE, Tech NZ supply and partner companies of Comvita®, but also from the various CRI’s  and Universities of New Zealand and Australia that we interact with. This year we are proud to get even more international speakers from Reading University, United Kingdom, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, AMC medical centre in Amsterdam and the University of Technology, Berlin.  This year we are hoping to attract a greater number of delegates from across New Zealand.  It’s an opportunity to see how the Comvita® research model works and moreover to become part of it.  The open dialogue on our science will enable discussion and new project ideas will emerge out of the day.

We will be hosted by the Institute of Innovation and Biotechnology (IIB) at the University of Auckland and the great venue is the business school in the Owen Glenn building.
