5 Uncommon Superfoods to Add to Your Diet

Some foods have earned the title of “superfood” for being extra nutritious, with common examples including kale, salmon, sweet potatoes, and blueberries. However, there are also some lesser-known superfoods that often go overlooked. For a healthier diet, mix things up by incorporating these 5 nourishing foods into upcoming meal plans. After all, variety is the spice of life!

Chia Seeds
Known as the “runner’s seed,” chia seeds are known for providing an extra boost of vitality. That’s because these little seeds are packed with significant amounts of healthy minerals like magnesium, calcium, and iron in every serving. While they aren’t typically intended to be eaten on their own, they usually make a good addition to snacks like smoothies, cereal, and yogurt.

Manuka Honey
